Ok one for the boys!
I know some bright spark will answer 'we are all the same height laying down' but if your other half was as tall or taller, when standing up, would it be an issue? Is it 'acceptable' for a woman to be taller than her man (excl Tom Cruise and his missus as nothing is normal there!)

my missus is about 1 inch taller than me, doesn't bother us.

height has never been an issue for me, I have been out with woman that are much taller and much smaller.
More important things to consider then height imho

For weeks the circus was rife with rumours that Hercules the strong man act, was having an affair with Rita, the incredible bearded woman.
To keep order in the circus, the Ringmaster requested Hercules met him & get the situation straight, Hercules all 6' 11.5" inches had great difficulty entering his caravan, but managed eventually to enter & seat himself comfortably.
"Hercules" said the Ringmaster "are you or are you not having an affair with Rita"
"Yes"
"Yea gods man how do you manage it, she's barely 3' & your twice her size & three times her weight"
"Well she gets me all aroused, then I grab her around the middle sit her on my lap, position her correctly & then slide her up & down"

I wouldn't really like it if my partner was taller than me. Would be a bit weird. Still, I haven't got that issue as my wife is shorter than me.
