Moral Dilemma

So I bought something that cost £28.99 and it was posted Recorded delivery. It popped through my letter box 8am this morning, I was awake. There was no knock/bell so no-one signed for it. Both signed for labels were intact. Normally one is on a card and the person signs next to it.

So do I contact the supplier and say I never received it?

As Royal mail never got a signature they would have to cough up the dough to the supplier.

Where's the moral dilemma?

You're asking whether you should steal or not!
If that isn't a question of morality you can solve without help...

Aw man. Sad

Seriously Rehan, I'm surprised you even considered it.
The postie was probably just doing you a favour and thinknig you'd rather not be woken up early on a Sat morning, so don't repay that by possibly getting him in trouble.

Yes basically what the others have all said. You paid for the goods and received them. So the postman didnt follow correct procedure, but that doesnt mean you have the right to steal by claiming they never turned up.
