I was talking to a mate (a real one) about docs fight story and I described the doc as "a mate" I then went on to explain that he wasn't a person I know, but a person an a forum. Its hard to talk about people on here without saying "my mate........"
So what do you call forum friends without sounding like a complete geek? I dont want to start a conversation with "A mate of mine on the internet....."
We had a little discussion about it and the best I could come up with was e-buddy. Acquaintance just seemed to personal. So what would you call us.
We all know what whoot would say lol so lets keep it clean hey?

I just say "a bloke I know"
It saves the 'looks' you would get, saying you were on an internet forum, chatting to someone you've never met. ![]()

Most of the women i talk to on the net i usually end up calling them dave/jack/bill etc when i eventually meet with them
Should that not read "Most of the women I meet from the net usually present me with a BILL"
