They had players ill, that is horrible timing. But no other team is allowed to have a replay because they had injuries in training before the match?

If Arsenal win the Champions League, you'll hear the moaning from Tottenham stop in a heartbeat.

It serves Spurs right for going out for a buffett the night before a £10m game! Would they have wanted a replay if they had won? To me , wanting a rematch is like having two bites at the cherry - 'if we lose first time round we'll try and get another chance'!

We (Spurs) have received an initial report from the Health Protection Agency and Tower Hamlets Environmental Health regarding the outbreak of gastro-enteritis amongst our players prior to the game against Wet Spam last Sunday.

"The information received so far is inconclusive, but more importantly, the results shown as yet are inconsistent," commented Dr Charlotte Cowie, Head of Medical Services.

"Despite there being the presence of Noro virus in one sample, it is not present in another sample from an equally affected individual.

"Therefore, it would be incorrect to make any assumptions at this stage as to the origin or timing of this and, if anything, it serves to sustain our level of uncertainty. I should also like to stress at this point we are awaiting the results of numerous further tests. It really is far too premature to draw any conclusions from such an initial set of results."

Oh and Nick, say what you want but we are safe in the knowledge that Spammers are and always will be our feeder club.

Ahh, bless Happy

Levy is still cluthing at straws.

For me, he would have a better case had Jol fielded a weekend team or not fulfield the fixture. The fact is, Jol let the players warm up, then, afterwards, they all decided to play (so said Jol in post match interview), and, with so much at stake, they must have thought they had a good chance of winning.

And they lost, because we happend to play very well (have you seen the game?) and scored two good goals. It was no walkover, you had your chances.

All the team was still running hard at the end of the game.

Just a case of sore loosers, its tough luck, but hey, better than having to watch two seasons in the fizzy pop league, so you cant blame me for loving every minute of this! Happy Happy Happy Tongue

I know, I know.

From my point of view, I think that something is suspicious regarding the whole thing, and that we've been right to pursue the case. But I was never 100% the idea of a replay. And maybe we could have handled it better on the day, but then again none of us were there to witness what actually happened and maybe we were left without a choice but to play the team we had.

And I know you played well, and might have beaten us anyway. But it was just a sour end to an amazing season.

Benny boy, I hope we'll learn by our mistakes for next season. I can se us getting a few more points next yeare but I think it could be fifth place again though unless Lenny Henry leaves or Liverpool take a dip in form. The scousers well suprised me, I didn't think they would have pushed on as much as they have.
Don't forget, it's two weeks left to renew your season ticket if you haven't already done so.

Up the Spurs !
