How many episodes of `My Name Is Earl` are there??

Just watched My Name Is Earl and like it a lot!! Im just wondering if anyone knows how many episodes are planned for the first series??

ive seen 12 and the website i use for tv guides shows 14 at the moment but i wouldnt be suprised if that went upto to around 20, most american shows, comedy, are around 20.

Season 1 isn't finished in America yet. So there should be a few more to go.

Season 1 will be 22 episodes. Hopefully for a total of 263+ episodes for the whole series!
