Harmless

Liverpool picked up harry kewell for:-

Same price West Ham paid for Tomas Repka

1 million less than Villa paid for peter crouch.

6 million less than Spurs paid for Rebrov (Surely the Winner)

Can anyone beat these ?

Well bearing in mind they've given Kewell £2 million, that make sit £7 million even though they won't admit it. To be honest it's a disgrace.

How about £25m less than Man Yoo paid for J Veron?
How about £25m less than Man Yoo paid for R. Ferdinand?
How about £13m less than Man Yoo are offering for Ronaldinho?

No they haven't. Liverpool have paid £5M. Leeds get 3M, agent gets 2M.
Leeds chairman gave permission to sell for 5M including 2M to his agent and he signed a letter saying so.
I do think that maybe Liverpool were prepared to pay Leeds 7M until they, erm, became aware that they only had to pay 5M.
They've asked Kewell and his agent outright if Kewell got 2M or indeed any payment as a result of the move and they said no. If that was a lie, it would be found in Liverpool's accounts.

That Prof. McKenzie is a tosser.

It's the best bargain I've seen in a long time and am made up!!
Mind you isn't Kluivert available for less than 2M? That is a bargain!

£5 million more than Les Ferdinand to Leicester.

All the best,

The 42%er.

To add insult to injury Harry Kewell has now asked Leeds United to stump up a £28,000 insurance policy premium.

Absolutely disgraceful conduct for a player that was idolised by a large number of the Leeds United fans. Whether Leeds should have sold him at the price quoted is neither here nor there the reality seems to be that Kewell effectively arranged his own "tapping up" through his agent. That way Liverpool have a clear conscience unlike Harry Kewell and his agent.

I felt so sorry for Rebrov. He is a class player, but now his confidence is shot to pieces. Hoddle arrived just as he was starting to show his class but he shut him out and treated him like a c***.

P.S.
Ferdi will be lucky to score 5 goals next year!

Kewell for £5million definetly sounds like a bargain but an even better bargain is Glenn Johnson for £6m. I have seen this guy play many times though he may not seem like a quality name like kewell, He is definetly better than Kewell in terms of how well they play in their own positions. This guy is a star. I wouldnt be surprised if some foreign clubs are after him at the end of next season. West Ham stupid to sell him.
