Doctor Who - Death of Peri during the fat bastard's time as the Doc. I know it turned out to be fake, but it was the last straw. The show had become "what do we do next? Dunno Let's kill everybody".

The mass slaughter of 8 end-of-contractees in The Bill in a conveniently timed fire bombing of the police station.

The killing off of Victor Meldrew (One Foot in the Grave) leaving the door well and truly shut on any remakes.

The recent splurge of death on Holby City, claiming several long-term characters.

Des Barnes looked like he was gonna pull through, sat up talking to that blonde barmaid that now sells three piece suites, when suddenly he collapsed and died. Bloody druggies.

Long live Des Barnes

Joyce Summers aka Buffy's mum.

Handled really well by that show.

also the worst one was Daphne Clarke in Neighbours.
Des's wife woke up briefly from a coma to say "I love you Clarkey"
and then Finis

Big Pussy's death in The Sopranos Series 2. Couldn't believe he was a 'rat'.

p.s. Might be a good idea to put a spoilers warning on the thread title. Just a thought.
