Mine has finally died, so I'm looking to get a cheap plain paper fax, preferably with reasonable consumable costs, too. Was looking at the Brother ones on Viking, but not sure what all this ribbon cartridge and refill business is. I'm tempted to go for an HP 1020, as it uses a standard HP cartridge. Any other thoughts? I only receive a few faxes, so no need for whizzy features, nor answering machines etc.
Need stand alone, really - mainly used for receiving rather than sending. Mind you, one of those exernal modems with the memory for when the PC's switched oiff might be a goer - wonder if they're any good....
G'day Richard,
As it happens, yes I can. Because I have a Samsung of my own, sitting in a cupboard. It uses Lexmark-like cartridges, so is easy to refill. It's an Inkjet of course. I live at CV37. Can we do business?
Kbo
Thanks for the offer, but it's for my business, do I'd prefer to buy new - apart from anything else, I can claim the VAT back anyway. I'm also no where near CV, either.
Cheers
