After the crushing disappointment that was Mafia 2, I've reinstalled GTA4. Should keep me busy until Medal Of Honor appears ![]()

Si, hadn't heard of The Witcher but Play have it for £9:99 so I thought it would be worth a punt. Will see how it goes when I get a chance to play it.

I've heard bad things about the game play of GTA4, Lots of lag and plenty of bugs is this still the case ?.

Admittedly it's a pain the balls to get running. Took me 2 hours to install thanks to requiring the stupid Rockstar Social Club and GFWL to be installed, updating the Live platform, updating the game to latest version etc
That said, the patches they have released allow you to better customise the graphics settings, and I was able to go from an average of 17fps to a fairly playable 25fps, albeit only on low-medium settings. That's on a 5 year old rig (top spec at the time).
The only thing I don't like is the new camera system... nowhere near as good as the one in GTA3 and Vice City.

I don't know quite what it is, but I just can't get into GTA IV on the 360. I think it's that the driving is "more realisitic", ie. harder to control. I loved zooming around Liberty City as per the PS2 games.
