MGS3: subsistence (which is to have the two previously unreleased in the US/UK games - Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2)

I think Hideo Kojima is a fantastic producer/director, no doubt about that, but Subsistence has cash in written all over it.

I mean, come on, the biggest selling point is online play and the revised camera system, both of which could (should?) have gone into MGS3 originally. Why the heck should fans buy the same game twice? Original Metal Gear games? Good for 5 minutes of retro action, but no-one is going to be bother playing them through. Now, remakes... that's another thing entirely... Winking )

I myself, have given up the ghost on Ghosthunter. Got myself a copy of Ninja Gaiden, and am getting my arse kicked by the first boss, which is at the end of (seemingly) the training level... Shocked Angry Shocked Oh my!

If its any consolation, the first guy boss is actually the hardest in the game. Its before you get some of your better moves and before you know the game mechanics really well.

The best move to use against him is the run up wall ground pound move or after does a combo hit him with a 2 hit strike and chip him to death.

Go that way, really fast. If something gets in your way, turn...

And those who dance will spin and turn,
And those who wait will wait no more,
And those who talk will hear the words,
And those who see will fade and die,
And those who laugh will surely fall,
And those who know will always feel their backs against the thin wall...

Been meaning to get my hands on a copy for a while. Not that i've played that far through, but it's mighty impressive already.

Just my luck then that someone was looking to get rid of his copy, and accepted a trade for Alias on the Xbox! Not that Alias is a terrible game, mind. But it's no Ninja Gaiden... Winking

Picked up Forza Motorsport for XBox yesterday & played online for 3 hours last night with some other blokes who had just bought it. Really hard to get used to, but great fun!!

It's not your typical arcade racer, you really do need to slow down for corners and follow racing lines, etc., but I reckon it will be worth the perseverence. Looks great too!

Must....finish....Year....9....reports......Work....comes....first..............

Still playing the Phantasy Star Online Blue Burst Beta, runs out on June 9th, racked up a few hours over the weekend and the other half wasn't happy.
