Batman: Arkham City

I'd recommend everyone getting this. Definately the highlight of the year by far gaming wise for me. I loved Arkham Asylum but only finished the main story arc and didnt bother with the side mission. On AC i want to do everything. The only problem is friends and family turning up just as i'm about to sit down and have a session.

Is anyone else playing?

I'm Batman

I'm saving it for Christmas I think, or if a £25 random deal comes out.

I loved Arkham Asylum, but also didn't bother with the side missions.

I would get it now, but just know I won't get a chance to play it properly, so may aswell save it.

The Hut are doing AC with Batman Begins and The Dark Knight Bluray for £35. It's 32 with a code on hotukdeals. If you havent already got the Blus you could stick them on ebay and you've effectively paid £20 for the game.

Yup, been playing it since it arrived middle of last week, loving the storyline and going off to do the side missions.  And the 20 -1 street fights are just epic.

Mrs got me the Catwoman Steel for my birthday. Been playing it on and off over the last week, but work is getting in the way. I was up until 2:30 this morning playing it though... I did most stuff on Asylum and will do the same on this.

Yeah i've ended up doing a couple of late nights myself. I bought someones Joker Carnival Challenge map code on ebay thinking it would let me the challenges as the Joker, like you can with the Robin DLC but it's just a challange map with roughly 4 hours gameplay on it. I'm happy to share if anyone wants it.

Bryan

Dont forget 31st October, time to visit Calendar Man.  Of course if you dont want to wait for all the dates, you can set your system clock forward in time.

Eh? Are their date-specific elements to the game then? What's that DLC all about Bryan? Someone I know got a 60s Batman skin from a Shopto pre-order, but I only have Batman: Year One skin and that's quite similar to the in-game skin. Wasn't there some DLC to play as Nightwing?

You find Calendar Man in the cells underneath the court building. On the wall is a calendar marked with various holiday dates and to get 100% completion one of the achievements is to visit him on each holiday and listen to what he has to say.
