Any other racers on here? Got 2010 cheap on Steam a while ago and really enjoy it, apart from the awful AI and IF WHEEL TOUCH CURB THEN SPIN physics.

Looking forward to 2011 out soon, should fix the AI, improve the multiplayer, fix the curb physics, and finally a safety car!

Oh yes!

Bought 2010 on release day; played it a bit but got annoyed with all the bugs, then read they were going to release an update for it to solve all the issues so gave up.

Had a go a few months later expecting to have to download an update, but nothing, same problems, so after half hour gave up and not picked it up since.

Big let down, hopefully this one will be better.

There was a big patch, added DX11 and fixed a lot of bugs, apparently.

The only issue I have with 2010 (apart from the kerb physics and AI) is it occasionally crashes on the Loading screen. Oh and rules can be a bit random. Happy

Mine was on Xbox, worst rule was if you were doing a 10 lap race or 25% you would have to pit but none of the other cars did. Sticking you at the back of the field.

Plus a slight bump would put you out of the race but no other cars would get damaged.

All the best

I can see that being an issue. It definitely didn't do that on the PC, in fact at 10% often the AI would pit. We mostly play 20% online multiplayer (with a load of AI thrown in for good measure).

Not sure if you can race Xbox vs PC. The latter uses Windows Live so maybe you can.

I think you'll enjoy it! My god it's a tough learning curve from 2010 though. AI seems a lot better in some ways and worse in others. Car handling is completely different, but there doesn't feel like any (if car touch specific kerb then spin) mechanics.

You can now really attack curbs that before you couldn't remotely risk touching, and other places you can spin so much easier (almost ridiculously so) where before was fine. A lot of re-learning!

PC graphics are noticeably better than 2010, interface is WAY better. Co-op is great so far! Really really good, it's like playing single player with a mate, no it is that!!!

Still getting used to DRS and Kers, got them sorted in qualifying but the actual race I'm confused as hell over DRS points heh.

Still struggling with the new driving physics, so easy to spin out. Which makes me a bit of a gentley bentley driver, so my laptimes are about 4-5 seconds off the pace.

Also, I have neck ache, even worse than 2010, I think its tension! Would it be wrong to wear a support brace like the real guys do?
