Resistance 3, anyone else got it?

Got this yesterday and fired it up today.
Took ages to install, was a bit surprised to see the initial animations look like old style comic drawings (I know the other Resistance games were that way but they were more... well "real" for want of a better description) and it just seemed to sit wrong.

I'm now on level two of the single player mode.
I've had it on around 20 minutes and had about 5 minutes of play on it, the rest has been cut-scene crap (and I've made my feelings about constant cut scenes before)

I hope this gets by this and becomes on par with the previous 2 games cos I loved them. If it's geared at online ala BLOPS I'll be very disappointed.

£37 too
(and it's got that PSN pass crap so if you use the online code, you need a new one to sell on!)

I want it but I no longer buy full price games. I'll be waiting until it drops a bit or I'll pick it up second hand as I don't play online much.

I haven't got it. I loved the first one and was warned off the second (was told they spent too much time making pretty environments and forgot to populate them with enemies or things to do).
I would like to pick it up at some point but funds won't allow at the moment.There are simply too many other games coming out

FIFA 12
Batman Arkham City
Battlefield 3

Are all must buys, and then I am tempted by others such as

Uncharted 3
Gears of War 3
Forza 4
Ratchet and Clank All 4 One
Formula 1 2011
Resistance 3

Way too expensive (on my finances) to buy them all even if they go down to £20 and even if I could I simply wouldn't have the time to play them all for any decent amount of time. Gonna get FIFA and Battlefield as my "dip into for a quick half hour" games and then get Batman for Xmas from the wife. The rest I will pick up when the price drops after Xmas I think.

I have it now but I've only played up to the bit on the boat. Seems okay, but like you said there's a cut-scene every five minutes. I had some trade in credit and I really wanted God of War Collection Vol. 2, but they didn't have it so I went for this. Not enjoying it as much as the first two yet, although I do kind of like the whole underground Resistance thing, living in tunnels etc.

And Bezza, Uncharted 3 only a temptation? It's at the top of my list with Arkham City!

Heh, you know it's a must have! Uncharted 2 is one of the best games I've ever played (and the first was pretty great), so I hope it lives up to expectations.

As for Resistance 3, well I'm on chapter 19 now and I have found it quite enjoyable. Will probably trade it back in while it's still worth a few quid and then buy it again when it's cheap so I can get all the trophies I don't earn this time around. I had the same plan with Vanquish and KillZone 3.
