Demo of Stranglehold for XBox 360

Has anybody downloaded this yet? It's supposed to be a follow on from Hard Boiled the movie and features Chow 'Tequila' Yun Fat and has had heavy imvolvement from John Woo (hence Doves, Slow Mo and 2 handed gunplay). I haven't downloaded it yet (will do tonight) but figured as this was a Games forum on a DVD site it seemed appropriate.

I've just read that back and I sound like one of those PR spammers - Oh well Happy

Buy it now....how did you miss it....if you use this code you'll get it cheaper....never has Chow looked so lifelike....blah....blah

I don't have a 360, or PS3, but have been watching trailers of this game for some time, it has the potential to be great, certainly looks it from footage I've seen, so I'll be interested to see what you and other "real" ppl think of it.

I think when it comes out on PS3 you get Hard Boiled on Blu Ray.

I read on one of the forums that it was only in the US but as I don't have a PS3 it doesn't affect me.

The only thing I've heard is that the gameplay looks great but will maybe be a bit repetitive - will have a try of the demo before I decide whether to order it.

The demo is good fun but I think it would definitely get repetitive. Really cool though the stuff you can do, the precision aiming and staredown or whatever they're called are executed brilliantly

All in all, better than I expected and I'll play the demo again, but this won't be parting me from Forza

Red ringed? I thought that meant curtains?

I had a single red light once, but I was faffing about with something just as I started up the console, so I probably deserved it.

No Stranglehold demo for me 'til the weekend; new TV doesn't turn up until tomorrow. Looks like a lot of fun, though.

Nah, doesn't always mean it's dead. It happens quite frequently for me now but normally a quick reboot fixes it. In my case it's overheating. Eventually it will go but I'd rather utilise it as much as I can. I don't really fancy waiting a month for it to be repaired.

Yeah, I cursed for a while left it, then tried it again.

*Touches every piece of wood in a 1 mile radius* It seems to be working ok now.

And, yeah, the Stranglehold demo is very good. The faces of the characters look a bit zombified, but they have got heroic bloodshed down to a fine art.

The movie after the demo makes it look like its not just a one trick pony, either.

Well I left mine on download before I came to work so hopefully it's not cocked up and I'll have it when I get home. I'm all in favour of a bit of mindless violence (I really enjoyed Black for example) so hopefully it's right up my street.

As soon as you get the focus aiming, the first thing you try and do with it is shoot someone in the balls.

It almost seems like a genetic comulsion.
