Not surprised, really. But what's annoying is that Rockstar and Take-Two have been banging on for ages about how it would meet it's target. Looks like 6-9 months is perfectly acceptable slippage nowadays...
MS will shove Halo 3 back now that they don't have to worry about clashing with GTA. Mark my words.

Loads of people are saying they aren't surprised, but I have to confess I certainly am. I'm one of those who doesn't get too upset by delays though, particularly with games like this. It's a shame, but the finished product can only benefit here.
GTAIV might just be the swing to get me to buy a PS3. Well, that and a hefty price cut!

Yeah, doesnt really bother me. Its strange to say as a GTA fan, but this wasnt even in my top 5 for the rest of the year.
Its clearly to get the PS3 version up to snuff, anyway.

I'm gl;ad to be honest, means there will be less games to buy at xmas so I might get round to playing them all, and can only make it a better game.
I agree that bet Halo 3 gets put back at least by a month now

Damn, was really looking forward to this. The wait just got longer.
Had it on pre-order with Play.com since the day I got the PS3.

Neither gamespot or GameRankings list it, so I guess it hasn't officially been announced. I would have thought they'd release it later though like previous games, to get in the cash.

Yeah i bet this is solely due to the PS3 format needing "some work" and the need for simultaneous release date deals.... 
Still it smoothes out the 360's AAA hectic release calender a little now thank god!
