cAN YOU PPLAY THESE ON A UK X-BOX WHICH ISCONNECTED TO A TV VIA A SCART ---THE TV CAN DISPLAY NTSC PICTURES.

Elite

Much like DVDs I belive there is regional encoding that won't play other regions games.

Competent

There are 3 regions.
It goes kinda like this:

North America
Asia
Rest of the world

You have to get it chipped to play US discs.

On the up side, if you find a cheap Oz supplier you can get cheaper discs. Devoted do 'em for about Aus$90 - which works out at just over £30 after shipping & ex gst, etc.
This is quite good for new relaeases which are usually about £40 at cheapest over here.
