Seriously, how boring are these Dan Brown films? I'm losing the will to live. Oh, gunfire! No wait, just firecrackers...

I thought it was an excellent movie - overhyped, yes, but an improvement on DaVinci Code. It's more of a thriller than DVC, with a couple of way out field twists in the plot and some fairly gruesome deaths reminiscent (in the extended cut) of the Omen pictures at their nuttiest. The scenic CGI's amazing considering the production got a huge f-off from the Vatican. I enjoyed it.

I can't believe there's 40 minutes left. The main villain looks a bit like a young Mark Kermode, which amused me.

Oh, it's been made worse by the fact that Ewan McGregor is clearly the bad guy. If I'm wrong I'll drink the rest of my wine (although to be fair I'll be doing that anyway).

I've just edited it. I meant the bloke who's been killing everyone up until now. It's fairly telegraphed who the mastermind is. The dodgy accent is a give away (he still sounds like Obi-Wan Kenobi).

No. My sister in law is an RE teacher and said so many bad things about Da Vinci that I wouldn't go near it. That and the fact that quite a lot of people I respect slag his books off. I don't know that the films are anything to go by, but if they are I'm not missing much.

lol, you sound like me. my father in law and sister in law have slagged his books of so much, i don't want to read them now.

They pretty much described them as Jackie Collins books for ppl who want to seem intelligent Winking They read a lot of books, and say that they're clearly popcorn books for the masses, as anyone who reads a lot can tell they're very badly written.

I couldn't believe the ending, I mean come on, you don't see that kind of unbelieveable stupidity in a Steven Segal movie!!!
