The teaser trailer for Ridley Scott's Space Jockey origin story/sort-of prequel to Alien, is online...
Oh God, this is a good week for trailers! Even though I was against exploring the space jockey mythology, this has become my most anticipated film of 2012. Looks awesome!

And I thought I was gonna see a dodgy matt painting of a ship from Stargate SG-1 ![]()

"There's that word again... is there a problem with the Earth's gravitational pull in the future?"
Now this does look very promising. I didn't even realise he was doing a prequel.
For me the Alien saga will always end with Aliens, every film after that was major disappointment after disappointment. If Scott can't make a decent sequel/prequel then get Cameron back for one more and if he fails, lets give up!

...every film after that was major disappointment after disappointmentI'm one of the few people who really enjoyed Alien 3 (as much as, if not more, than Aliens!).
I loved the concept of those inmates stranded in a pretty hostile environment with little or no weapons to defend themselves with.
Alien 4 on the other hand was a pile of tosh.

Now we must await the one person who liked the AVP films
Surely no-one will publicly admit to that?!? ![]()
Even my mate (who was responsible for the shot of the ship uncloaking at the end - all 3 seconds of it
) admits that it's a p1ss poor film.

I was trying to put my finger on whose voice Guy Pearce reminded me of. Suddenly got it - John Carson (Captain Kronos). Either that or James Mason.
