Elite Donator

Not completely awful. Less schmaltz would have been nice. Even the kids were groaning after a while. Very effective use of 3D and a moon-based plot device stolen straight from Hancock.

Highlight was Azaria. hamming it up like a pro and not taking himself seriously for a single frame

No, that was making a Smurf joke about Avatar.  I'm talking about making an Avatar joke about The Smurfs.  There's a subtle difference, y'know.  Of course the hat trick is making a Smurf joke about Avatar being about the Smurfs.  Oh no, I've gone cross-eyed....
