Super Admin

As much as in the past some of us have despised the BBFC, at least it's always been clearly independent of the industry.

Check out the documentary "This film is not yet rated" its an investigation into the secretive acts of the MPAA and trying to find out who they are etc - also features Trey talking about how they censored their earlier work and double standards etc - very interesting Happy

I find it kind of funny, I find it kind of sad
The dreams in which i'm dying are the best i've ever had.

Wow, that's bad about them MPAA not telling them what they could cut, but telling the big boys Sad

Some BBFC decisions confuse me, but I'm glad their web site explains what cuts have been and their justification for them in relation to rating.

On a side, slightly related note, I was reading about the "unrated" versions of DVDs etc that come out. I forget who and what film, may have been The Hangover, but the director was saying it annoyed him, as ppl assume "Unrated" is like "Director's cut", but he said it's not for his films, as it was content he had cut out the film for various reasons, i.e. he didn't want it in the film, and then the film studio put it in to sell units, not because it added anything.
