Anyone watched this?

I didn't fancy it, but recently seen that Tarantino was bigging it up as one of the films of the year and loads of others have been saying it's a misunderstood comedy that will be remembered as a cult classic year down the line.

Well watched it tonight and thought it was s***.

Just wondering if the general opinion of people on here is the same, or I'm just one that "didn't get it".

It must be said I'm not a big Seth Rogen fan, liked Knocked Up and Zach and Miri, but wasn't too keen on Pineapple Express and found him annoying at times in the other films, but in Observe and Report it just seems the film as a whole is just s***e.

I thought it was great! Only film I can liken it to is Taxi Driver. Inspired comedy moments and Rogen is actually showing he is a good actor and not just a comedian with this and Funny People.

And Michael Pena is hilarious.

I've heard that it's not as good as Paul Blart, and even that wasn't good apparently.

Paul Blart was woeful, only watched it as it generally got 2/3stars in most places so assumed it would be watchable. Was terrible though.

Observe and Report, I've spoken to a few people about and they've generally thought it was s*** aswell, so maybe it is a really is a marmite film. I generally like stuff that pushes the boundries of acceptability aswell, but just seemed forced or not funny.

Wasn't keen on the Michael Pena charachter either.

You all heard correctly, it was pure s***.

A fractured joke at bipolar people that does nothing to enhance their reputation in the media and general public perception.

Rogen can act, but he comes across as an unlikeable c*** in this movie

Yup! thought it was a pile of crap.

Really struggle to see why anyone could think otherwise.
