Has anyone watched this yet?
Was planning on going to the cinema on Weds night to see it.

From the trailer it looks pretty funny and it seems to have some fairly good reviews (IMDB & Rotten Tomatoes specifically), and from what Johnny Vaughn said this morning RDJ steals the show.

Saw it on Friday.

It's good, but don't expect too many laughs and you'll be fine. There's not really any stand-out laugh out loud moments, and it's mostly clever in-jokes and wordplay. I enjoyed it, but it's hardly going to be breaking into the Top 100 comedies list anytime soon. Shame really because with the cast involved it should be fantastic.

I enjoyed it too. Really wish i had gone in there knowing nothing though. I reckon i would have absolutely loved it if i hadn't known a lot of what was going to happen.

The funniest parts are definitely covered in the trailer, but there is enough extra stuff there to be entertaining.

Don't worry, all the women were laughing just as much as the men in the audience. Winking

I thought it was hilarious, funniest film I've seen this year.

I'd seen the trailers but it was still funny in the respective bits.

Looked to me that it had been edited for content since the trailer. A few of the more controversial lines were gone and the trailer was an 18, whereas the finished movie was a 15. No doubt an 'unrated' DVD on the way.

Watched an unedited version of Mirrors the other day, which I thought was pretty good. Turns out the UK version has been edited down from an 18 to a 15 in the UK however, which is stupid for a film of its type.

Just watched the Red Band trailer and saw nothing in that, that wasn't in the full feature. Can you remember any specifics?

I can see there is stuff in the trailers not in the film, but that's not uncommon with comedies, but it didn't look like it had been tamed down. I'm guessing the trailer got an 18 for just having bad language out of context.
