A lot of reviews I've heard/read have described the film at pretty much perfect, and the only bad reviews have come from those branding it as left-wing propoganda - you get the feeling some people go into movie theatres just looking for bad points...

Saw the trailer for it last week (before "Wanted" would you believe?!?!) and it looked impressive. Reminded me a little of an animated "Short Circuit" - although I'm sure it will be funnier.

Very much looking forward to it...especially on Blu-Ray Grinning

Will probably take it in during our holiday Toronto\Ottowa, much cheaper than the Odeons ransom demands.

I consider myself an optimist, albeit an optimist with cynical tendencies and a dark side that Lucifer himself would find a little creepy. (Perhaps you’ve noticed.) You don’t normally associate cynicism with an upbeat pov. But I have exactly that combination and will defend it.

Heard it compared to 2001 on more than one occasion. Its meant to look beautiful as well.

Has a 'Silent Running' feel about it (from the tiny bits I've seen).

Saw a trailer for this before Kung Fu Panda at the weekend (which was awesome...and attractive!), and have to say it looks lovely. Not too sure about it's appeal to kids though. It looks they crossed ET with AI: Artificial Intelligence and Lost in Translation. I want to see it, but I can imagine the kids plumping for the Panda this summer...

They've described it as a silent movie, as there is hardly any talking throughout the film.
