Does anyone know the next release dates of the Disney DVDs that have now been deleted?
Little Mermaid in October, Jungle Book due next year or 2008. Have a list at work, will check for you tomorrow.

"Hmm, new teeth, that's weird. So where was I? Oh that's right, Barcelona..."
Doctor Who will return in... ooh, Spring sometime.
Hi. does anyone know if the lion king will come out again as I was going to get it but seems to have been deleted.
Thanks.
Got a funny feeling that won't be back on the shelves until 2011 or 2012, it was only deleted last year (soon to be deleted and fetch silly amounts of money are Aladdin - which may have already gone - and Bambi).
You might get a relatively cheap copy on eBay since its not too long gone.

In my opinion, they'll speed up the re-releases to get some of the big films out in 2008 ish - as they'll want them out on Blu-ray/HD-DVD. (Think its Bluray they've gone for)
but that's just my opinion.

Hope this helps, this is from Disney.co.uk so is official. Unlike the above, i doubt they will be released anytime soon after blue-ray or HD-DVD hits, as Disney would have done that for DVD when DVD first came out, right ? ![]()
Disney like to keep these DVD's years apart from re-releasing so each generation of kids has something special to look forward to (And why Disney Classics hold their price).

Woo!
When is "Song of the South" due? I heard it was finally going to be released in the USA last year, but it doesn't look like it has been. It's a shame - that film was so demonised but I acquired a bootleg and it's still as innocent, charming, and completely non-racist as I remembered.

Last I heard Song of the South was on permanent moratorium due to "unnacceptable content" but don't think this was official word from Disney so wait and see.
