Anyone know what cuts there are on Deadwood series 1 R2 dvd?

Harmless

Hi on the back of the region 2 dvd of Deadwood season 1,a disclaimer says that "some episodes may be edited from the network originals". This basically means that some eps have been either cut or trimmed. Does anyone know what has been "cut" from the eps? Many thanks, Mike Thomas.

If they cut out the swearing, there would be nothing left Grinning

I think the horizontal jogging was quite appropiate in the first series to show what a frontier town was like, ie, where men were men, women were women and donkeys were scared.

But now on the second series, it just seems to be thrown in willy nilly to keep the story interesting, its just started on SKY this week.

I've not seen any of this.. given that I really like other HBO shows, like Sopranos and Oz, do you reckon i'd like it*
My dad is a massive Sopranos fan - (not lovejoy though) I'm thinking of picking it up for his b-day.. and then borrowing it.

*taking into consideration that you don't know me, of course.. Winking

The first series was award winning, very good storyline, with Wild Bill Hikock & Calamity Jane, great acting and excesive swearing and quite a bit of jiggy jiggy Grinning

Only seen the first two episodes of the new series, and a bit dissapointed.

Weaker story lines and I find the language so flowery between the swear words, that it is very difficult to follow.
