Goodfellas - Is there a SE in the pipeline?

Was goign to buy Goodfellas but it seems it's "Two sided." Does this mean half way through I'd have to turn the disc over?

Is there a proper release planned?

There's a special edition rumoured for November, I'm also holding out for it.

It's definetely coming out because Irvin Winkler, the producer claims he has recorded a commentary track for it some time ago.

I have owned the two-sided original edition for ages now. It only cost me about 7 quid. I dont think I would buy the special edition because it seems pointless now, but for anyone who does not own the film the additional extras would be a bonus for what is already a special film.

>>> I dont think I would buy the special edition

Fair enough, but doesn't it irritate to have to turn the disc over?

You could always buy two DVD players, hook both up to your TV, then buy two copies of the disc....etc...etc

Look, if it saves getting out of your armchair to turn the thing over, I'm in favour of it !

In actual fact, my suggestion isn't as crazy as it sounds. This is something I've done when watching films which are spread over two discs - the ultimate in laziness Happy

The obvious solution is to invent a motorised mobile armchair for all the lazy b******s.
