Mostly Harmless
Looking at rewind I see there is a HMV exclusive which is basically the criterion Region 1. Howver it is not on their website. Does anyone know what the differences between the criterion version and the regular U.K chasing Amy release. There is a commentary on both is one better? There are 10 deleted scenes on the CE and on the regular U.K it just says deleted scenes. Any help appreciated?

slightly OT - for the love of god, don't order the cheap version of Chasing Amy from cd-wow. The transfer is terrible, and the pan & scan (sacreligious) looks as though it was done by a blind man with fudge on his hands.

The HMV exclusive, and the crit region 1 are identical (except for packaging, and PAL/NTSC of course)

i boght this from HMV when they was selling it for £10 and it is exactly the same as the r1 criterion (which i borrowed of a m8 so i knew what the differences could be) the R2 even has the same Criterion menu as the R1.
but i caved in and sold it and bought the R1 Criterion.
the Pal speed-up made Kevin smith sound high-pitched in the commentary.

Thank for the pointers guys, my problem is not solved, what are the differences between the regular and special HMV version?

No difference, there's only one region 2 Chasing Amy and it's identical to the Criterion, all apart from the packaging, which looks better on the Criterion one. Either way a decent disc.
