Mostly Harmless

interesting how the first deal started at around £100 and those found since have got progressively more expensive, not that they're not still great value, but maybe dell don't mind a bit of this building interest in their site, i mean ive felt the urge to get out the credit card when the 1024 ram system (£235) worked on their site, even though i didn't really need it and nor would i ever make use of that much ram power.

if they got rid of the no monitor option for those found earlier they could easily have stopped all systems on their site from allowing this 'loophole'

Its me again. I ordered the Dell 2400 for £106 +MS Office total £235 Happy

I've received an IR number on day of order(24.10.04)

Stupid me didn't even notice the attachments with the above email. Guess what? I've got an Order Confirmation, Order number and Customer number Happy

Update: Estimated shipped date 03/11/04 Grinning

Thanks again for Reestit Mutton for Original posting, you saved my friend a lotta money Happy . Had my eyes on a pc starter kit for them for last month or so.

Fortunately got a spare 19inch CRT (dell monitor) which I can attach to it too and sell them the whole package. Happy Happy Happy Anyone know how much I should charge for the 2 year old monitor ? does £70 sound reasonable?

Thanks
Niteowl

I believe that means you can start planning as to where your new PC will reside Grinning
If not, I'll take bets that TS would rip them a new bottom Lol

Late as usual
I can find none of the options listed in this thread available.
Wouldn't mind but I was thinking of a Dell anyway.

Damn...still no order number for me, and the IR number isn't being found on their system, despite me having an email to confirm (I suppose this simply takes time).

wingZero21 - did you order it bog standard or add on MS office etc.?

Miles R,
I first got an email from Dell Inc. confirming they were processing my order and an IR number. 4 hrs later got an email from UKI_Customer_Care - confirming order and with 2 attached adobe documents (i.e. the order confirmation and their T & C).

Are you sure you haven't got the attachments? (silly question I know, but as I said before I hadn't realised I'd had them Confused ).

Good Luck to everyone who's tried to get it.

Hi Niteowl

Definitely no attachments unfortunately Sad
You added MSOffice though, so they might treat differently for that - why I'm not sure, but perhaps.

Anyway, we'll wait and see what happens.

Cheers anyway, and best of luck to all those who have tried Grinning

Miles
