PS Vita wifi deal at Amazon £234 inc a Game and 8gb MS

My son has saved his christmas money and birthday money for a Vita for himself so I've been keeping my eye on the deals and this one seems by far the best if anyone else here is after one. Hotukdeals

The Wifi Vita + 8gb MS and a choice of 1 of 6 games. He chose Rayman Origins which is the bestof the bunch but also one of the best launch titles.

Hope this helps someone else.

The price of this plummeted a week or so after release in Japan.  I can see a similar thing happening here - maybe not in a week though.
Second week sales were about 20% of the first.  I think the 3G model price was cut more because nobody was buying it.
Definitely not something I'd buy at launch and can see it being nearer £150 - £170 before too long...

I bought the original PSP when it was launched in the US (had someone bring it over for me) and I was very impressed with it (at the time).

However, I reckon Ste's right and the prices will come down a little after launch. Gaming on the move has changed significantly with the smartphone gaming market and I suspect demand is simply not as strong as Sony would like it to be.

My thought process was that the Vita has an RRP of 229, the 8gb card would be another 30 quid then 35-40 for the game. With this deal he's only paying £160-170 for the Vita.

I didn't realise that you could stream and play your PS3 games with remote play. My personal interest in it has definitely risen.
