You can bump the SSD (8Gb) up by slipping SDHC card into the left hand card slot (up to 32Gb ), Linpus adds it seamlessly to it's existing HDD storage space.

IGNORE the above - Didn't see the 120Gb HDD bit.

It's a good price for the unit, which is one of the best out there.

Most of the documentation I produced for my kids AA1 for updating\customisation, is now redundant as scripted installs are available here from the Acer ftp website, just download & go.

I'm not a fan as in my shop I have had so many back lately!! I have lost count of the number I have had to re-install Linux on!! ( I even keep a memory card ready with Linux on so I can do it quickly.

Main problems have been with the wireless disappearing, not starting, and the mouse pad not working properly!

Now I know I am going to hear mention of an update fix or if you look in this forum there is a fix, the problem is trying to get customers to do it!!

When the Asus Eee came out we sold Sh*t loads and yes a few came back but nothing like the Aspire One.

Save a bit more and get a Samsung NC10, now that's nice!! ( you can even put Linux on if you must!)

Just needed to get it of my chest............. Angry

Usually after after hibernation, much like Window$ a reboot solves the problems.

If you have any "clearance\previously used" ones, I for one would be interested for at least 1 (THO) & possiby one to seriously play with for Ubuntu remix etc.

Ubuntu has apparently the best WiFi driver about for the internal card.

The real problem as always is the "Its not Windows & I can't be bothered to look for the answer, despite it being a known hardware\software combination".

As for the mouse, not seen any issues other than the fact I prefer a proper mouse (wireless) shoved into the USB port.

I bought a 6600mAH in January.
Weight around 0.5kg (465g).
Battery life absolutely great I charge mine once a week with about 1hr usage daily.
Cost around £48 delivered from Sales@SuperEtrader.co.uk via amazon.
You may find one cheaper elsewhere but they offered good service.
