Hi Clayts.
A good bargain you have spotted there.
I've just visited the site and I am thinking about ordering one but I'm not quite sure if the digital camera/webcam that I got from Lidl for £39 is just as good just for the purpose of taking pics and then uploading to my pc.
Obviously the Kodak camera is of better quality but would you say that as an ordinary person who just needs a camera for normal pic taking, really needs one.
Any advice appreciated please on this.
The Lidl camera takes 110 pics on low resolution and 26 on high.
Should I stick with this?
Thanks,
AnnMarie

Digital camera are all about resolution - the more you pay, the higher the quality. I think really it depends upon what you'd use it for - these £40 ones are often okay for simple, basic photos.

I've always ummed and ahhed about whether I need one : I think £100 for a £300 camera is just too good a bargain to miss for a top quality product. It will be useful for my website, and for instant processing of photos which can be uploaded and emailed to people in an instant : for convenience sake this is one of the best features of a digital camera.

Only you can decide whether it's worth it or not !

Hi

Thanks for the info,

I have been looking for a digi camera for the last couple of months and had actually ordered one from a different website last night, so as soon as I read this thread, I was on the phone to cancel that one and order this BARGAIN!!!!!!!!

By far the best deal I have seen

Thanks Clayts!! I have just ordered one!

I thought I would not be able to afford a good (above 2 million pixel) camera for some time.

Can people post when they receive their cameras?
